Helmer: [sinking down on a chair by the door and burying his face in his hands]: Nora! Nora! [He rises and looks round.] Empty! She's not here any more! [With a glimmer of hope] 'The greatest miracle of all . . .'? [From below comes the noise of a door slamming]

[A few months later]

[Nora Recieves a letter from Torvald and goes to Torvald's house after reading it]

Nora[knocking on Torvalds door and he answers]: I got your letter..Told you you musn't send me anything.

Helmer: I'm sorry but I really must talk to you about all of this.

Nora: Talk..

Helmer: Can we please let 'The greatest miracle of all' happen? I can change if you're willing to as well.

Nora: No we musn't. Its too late Torvald. but I did make a decision..

Helmer: What is it, Nora?

Nora: I must still see my kids but only my kids, not you. I shall not leave them to grow up without a mother.

Helmer[sadly]: Fair enough. I shall let you spend time with them whenever you'd like.

Nora: Thank you. I must go now. Goodbye Torvald, back to our agreement. No speaking when I come to see me kids also.

Helmer: Goodbye Nora...

About me and A Dolls House

      My name is Lexi , a student of Ms.Santos. (: This years English class has been great! I mean I didn't like all of the books we've read this year but my teacher is great so she makes it worth reading. I've learned a lot this year and  I cant wait to learn more...but now....let me tell you about the play A Doll's House. The author is Henrik Ibsen. He was born March 20th, 1828 and died on May 23, 1906.
     Ibsen was a Norwegian playwright, theatre director, and also a poet of the 19th century! Hes referred to as "The Father of Prose Drama". A Doll's House  is one of his major books that sold a lot and every one loved! The major theme of this play is the roles of women. Also its about the struggle to deal with society's expectations and how they can ruin relationships. This play seems so interesting, I cant wait until we read it !
